My team and I began working on our 11th collection, California Coast, almost a year ago. I wanted it to both embody the spirit of California’s timeless summer beauty and reflect our commitment to sustainable, fashion-forward living. I’ve always believed that swimwear should be a “triple threat”: It should look good, it should feel good, AND it should do good for our planet. With this collection, we’ve pushed the boundaries of creativity by designing two new textured fabrics that encapsulate classic, quiet luxury, and I’m so proud of it!
A TRIBUTE TO CALIFORNIA'S TIMELESS BEAUTY
California Coast is a heartfelt tribute to the essence of California. From the sun-drenched days to the blooming coastal landscapes, each piece is designed to capture the inherent allure of the Golden State – my birth state and where I spend half my time – in two new beautiful fabrics:
Textured Geometric: The Radiance of Sunshine Yellow - Our first new fabric, Textured Geometric, is a vibrant sunshine yellow that perfectly captures the warmth and radiance of California's sunlit days. Made with 93% recycled nylon and 7% spandex, this stretchy fabric features a distinctive three-dimensional geometric pattern that stands out not only for its striking design but also for its environmental consciousness. By choosing recycled materials, we’re making a statement that fashion can be both stunning and sustainable.
Textured Flowers: The Serenity of Coastal Hues - Our second new fabric, Textured Flowers, channels the harmonious dance of the waves and the serene beauty of the coast. This fabric is crafted from 68% recycled polyester, 25% recycled nylon, and 7% spandex. The elevated three-dimensional floral texture mirrors the intricate beauty of California's blossoming coast and landscapes in Sky Blue, Blush Pink and Cloud White, which--in my opinion--makes each piece like a work of art.

Swimwear, to me, is all about freeness and flexibility. The California Coast collection gave us the opportunity to be creative with fabric and colors, adding depth to our classic silhouettes with innovative fabrics and a fresh color palette. From the chic MALIBU SURF SUIT to the versatile and classic NALO and RIO SETS (our OG styles!), each piece is designed to make you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to take on the summer with style.

Since our founding nearly two years ago, we’ve made sustainability one of our core values, prioritizing fabrics that use recycled and regenerative materials. This collection is no exception, and I’m loving that the tactile experience of these fabrics gives it a little something extra. Each piece in our California Coast collection is a testament to the fact that sustainability and style can go hand in hand.
