Welcome to our new series – WOMEN WE ADMIRE. Here, we're shining a light on the incredible women within our community and our Sienna Swim Collective. Whether they're friends, leaders, creators, mothers, daughters (or all of the above!), these women are truly inspiring, and we want to create a space to showcase their magnificence. We are beyond grateful for the special community we're building through our brand – a diverse group of women achieving remarkable feats and inspiring others by simply being themselves and following their dreams. This monthly series aims to spotlight women we love and invite you to connect with them. We're all about uplifting others, celebrating successes and showing how truly special, layered and powerful we are as women. * *Read other profiles in our series: Nikki Cook Gomez, Amy Timmerman, Ivana Cook Burbage & Taylor Hayden.
Meet Stacie Trout (@stacietrout), who is a testament to the power of embracing one's passions and living authentically. With a deep commitment to health and wellness, Stacie, alongside her husband, is launching their own clean skincare brand, @momonaskin, aimed at changing the industry landscape with products like their one-ingredient tallow moisturizer. Her definition of success is refreshingly grounded—finding happiness and contentment in life's simple pleasures, a belief that has evolved beautifully with her experiences as a mother and entrepreneur. As someone who practices daily gratitude and emphasizes self-growth, Stacie is not just creating products; she's crafting a life filled with meaningful connections and inspiring other women to follow their unique paths.
We sat down with Stacie to ask a few questions and for words of advice she would share as our newest WOMAN WE ADMIRE:
-
Q: WHAT INITIATIVES OR CAUSES ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT, AND HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THEM? A. I am really passionate about all things health and wellness! My husband and I are launching our own clean skincare brand Momona (@momonaskin) mid-September (this week!), and our goal is to change the skincare industry for the better. Our tallow moisturizer is one ingredient. Our passion for non-toxic living has led us to start our own business and we are super excited about this new chapter!

Q: HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS, AND HAS YOUR DEFINITION EVOLVED OVER TIME?
A. I define success as someone who has found complete happiness within their life. It doesn't mean you have to make the most amount of money or have the biggest house. If you've found your slice of happiness in this life, I think those are the real riches. My definition of success has definitely evolved over time. As I've gotten older I've realized what is important in life and that to be successful can look different to so many people. To me, it just means that I am happy and content with the things that I have and the life that I've made for myself.

Q: CAN YOU SHARE A QUOTE OR MANTRA THAT RESONATES WITH YOU, AND WHY?
A. A quote that resonates with me is "when one door closes, another one opens." I feel like I have lived so many different lives. I've been so many versions of myself and it is so interesting to reflect and look back on all of the doors that had to close in order for the new ones to open and lead me to where I am today. I strive to be an optimistic person and I feel like this quote is the epitome of that—choosing to move forward, have faith, and trust that everything happens for a reason.

Q: HOW HAS THE JOURNEY OF MOTHERHOOD INFLUENCED YOUR SELF-PERCEPTION AND YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON THE WORLD AROUND YOU?
A. My journey of motherhood has influenced my self-perception and perspective on the world around me in so many ways. Firstly, I am so much gentler on myself and give myself grace more than I did before becoming a mother. I view myself as such a strong and powerful woman, who can do hard things. I have so much more gratitude and a deep appreciation for all of the miracles that exist around me daily and I have learned to slow down and be where my feet are.

Q: IF YOU COULD IMPART ONE PIECE OF WISDOM TO YOUNG WOMEN, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU SHARE?
A. If I could impart one piece of wisdom to young women, I would say focus on self-growth over everything. Explore the world and learn who you are, and try not to get caught up in all of the noise. Friends will come and go, jobs will come and go, but always staying true to yourself and your values will get you so much further in life than you think. Believe in yourself always and know that you are capable of challenging things.

Q: WHAT DOES YOUR IDEAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
A. My ideal day would be a beach day here in Hawaii, surrounded by all of my family and friends. We would hang at the beach, swim, bbq, play games and just enjoy each other's company. My family all lives in Canada, so a day like this where all of my loved ones are in my favorite place at the same time would be such a dream.

Q: HOW DO YOU PRACTICE GRATITUDE IN YOUR DAILY LIFE AND HOW DOES IT IMPACT YOUR OVERALL WELL-BEING?
A. I practice gratitude daily by taking a walk in nature every single morning, rain or shine. I take my baby boy on a stroller walk every morning and we usually end it with a barefoot walk on the beach and dipping our toes into the Ocean. This time really allows me to be connected to the Earth and disconnect from technology and distraction. I truly think being in nature grounds me and allows me to have such an appreciation for my life. I feel like such a healthier and happier version of myself when I am connected to nature, and it reminds me to stop and smell the roses. I always have such gratitude when I slow down and look at all of the beauty surrounding me in this beautiful life that I have made for myself. It makes me very proud and grateful at the same time.
