A safety razor is the secret to the closest, smoothest shave possible, using just one double-edged blade instead of multiple blades like most disposable razors do. Those supposedly “safe” lubricant or soap strips on plastic razors usually contain nasty chemicals like PFAs that can mess with our nervous and hormonal systems. The video walks you through how to add a blade to your razor. If you don't want to watch the video, here are instructions:
1. Hold the shaft of the razor with one hand and twist the bottom with your other hand.
2. Unscrew the handle and take off the head of the razor.
3. Grabbing the blade's sides (not top or bottom!) carefully place the blade between the top two pieces
4. Put back together by screwing the handle back on.
Using a safety razor is easy, as long as you approach it with patience and purpose. Prior to shaving, prepare your skin with a hot shower or bath to open up your pores. Next, lather a generous amount of soap or cream onto the desired area and begin shaving with short, deliberate strokes at a 45-degree angle, just a few inches at a time. With the razor's weight doing most of the work, avoid applying excessive pressure like you would with a plastic razor. For the bikini zone, remember to shave along the hair's natural growth direction, keeping your skin taut for an effortlessly smooth glide. Rinse the blade frequently for optimal performance. There may be a slight learning curve when transitioning from traditional razors, but trust us—the benefits are absolutely worth it! Once you get the hang of it, you’ll never go back to plastic.

With the proper care and maintenance, your SMOOTH razor can last for many years. Always remember to dry your SMOOTH razor after use and avoid storing it in the shower. Once a month, give it a gentle clean using castile soap, warm water, and an old toothbrush. By taking these precautions, your razor will continue to perform as well as the day you brought her home!
We suggest collecting your used blades in an old jar. Once full, we recommend dropping off the jar at a collection point for sharps items, for example at a recycling center or drug store. Google the location nearest to you. Never throw away a blade in the trash without first wrapping the blade in paper or tape.
If you are not happy with your SMOOTH razor within our standard 5 day policy, we are happy to provide store credit for the original razor value only.
In order to receive store credit, please ensure the razor is in acceptable condition; broken razors will not be accepted.

- Items such as soaps and oils are non-returnable and non-exchangeable; this means that if you bought a kit and would like to return it for store credit, we will only provide credit for the razor, not for the other kit items
- Used blades are non-returnable and non-exchangeable

Because the SMOOTH razor is metal, you must exercise extra caution with it. If it falls, it may break. We do not refund or replace razors that break from falls. Like any razor, please keep your razor and blades out of reach from children.
