We were honored to spend our Labor Day weekend with a community of women we love at the second annual Hawai’i Swim Show. From catching up with the show’s founders and our friends, Kali’a Wasson and Taylor Matas, to meeting other designers and women-owned businesses, to reconnecting with the beauties who have modeled with Sienna Swim before and making new friends with everyone who walked the runway for us.
This is our second show this year – we celebrated our one-year anniversary earlier this summer at Miami Swim Week – and it feels incredible to be putting down roots in the swimwear community and finding our people. More than that though, Hawai’i Swim Show is women-led, and celebration of women and the female form is right at its center. We are so proud to be part of such a beautiful community of love and empowerment for the second year, especially since our first year was so fun.
Hawai’i has been a place where our founder, Sienna, has felt included, supported, and accepted—in and out of the swimwear industry. As her home, it has been a place where she has found friendship, belonging, inspiration, and a passion for preserving, appreciating, and respecting the islands. For this reason and so many more, it only felt right to debut our upcoming collection – Collection No. 7 –at Hawai’i Swim Show.
This collection was inspired by the last beautiful bits of summer—home from vacation, winding down with friends, easy picnic lunches and tasting the final bites of summer-ripened fruit. It reminds us to find bliss right in our own backyard, appreciate the end of a beautiful season, and find a moment of rest before the new changes of fall come into transition.
In our newest collection, you’ll find two new signature hand drawn prints inspired by picnics and fruit baskets, a vintage-inspired tee and sweatshirt to match, and custom green and blue color ways in our best-selling styles that will easily transition with you from summer to fall. We’ve also taken one of our crowd-favorite silhouettes and given it a sweet, lace-trimmed makeover. So make sure you set your alarm for Saturday, September 23 at 8 AM PT to get your hands on this limited collection!
